EU Twinning Project FQMS Estonia
As part of the German-Estonian EU Twinning Project for the development of a fuel
quality management system (FQMS), our involvement covered the training of standardised
sampling for the employees of the energy supervision, environmental and customs
authorities.
In June 2005, packed full of material, we set off on the Rostock-Tallinn ferry.
Arriving in Tallinn, we were met by highly qualified and well-prepared Estonian
inspectors, who were professionally and successfully trained at filling stations,
tank storage facilities and on ships. Leisure was also not neglected in the time
of the “white nights”... We would like to thank all our German and Estonian project
colleagues for being able to find out for certain that Estonian cuisine is not only
for diabetics, and that leg of pork, roasts, sausage and sauerkraut are not a German
invention, as well as for the excellent cooperation and the delicious and rich culinary
accompaniment:
